Primeiro Geronimo crown MVP

Primeiro d’Agosto small forward Vladmir Jeronimo was crown the Most Vlauable Players (MVP of the 24th edition of the FIBA Africa Champions Club for men.

31 years old Primeiro forward beat seven other contenders including 2008 MVP Joaquim Gomes to the crown.
He was also voted as one of the continent Top-5 players, Mohammed Bukar of ASPAC basketball club was the competition leading scorer with 179 points from seven games, Gomes won the best rebounder award with 66 rebounds from seven games, Mathew Miller of APR Lions was the best three point shooter with 23 made shots.
Other members of the honour list include Cedric Isom of APR Lions voted as the best point guard, Petro combo-guard, Curtis Terry was the best off-guard, Eduardo Mingas was voted the competition best power-forward while Rodrigo Mascarenhas was voted the best centre.

Interclub basketball club of Congo Brazzaville won the fair-play award just as APR Lions, Petro Atletico and Primeiro d’Agosto got the bronze, silver and gold medals respectively.
