Petro Atletico basketball club of Angola Saturday became the first team to make it to the last four of the 24th FIBA Africa Champions Club for Men holding at the sports hall of the Amahoro stadium, Kigali, Rwanda.
Petro who top group-A to set up the quarter-final clash against the Kenyan proved a hard side for the Kenyan winning in all four quarters of 31-10, 26-17, 29-09 and 24-20 for a final score-line of 106-56 points.
Petro Mario Porter led the floor with 19 points and 6 rebounds, Roberto Fortes 16 points and Hermenegildo Mbunga added 13 points for their side victory.
Petro will now square up against the winner of the quarter-final clash between ASB Mazembe basketball club of Democratic Republic of Congo and ASPAC basketball club of Benin Republic in the second semi-final billed for Sunday at 19h00.
