Central Zone Basketball League (Cezobal) has called 25 players to start preparations for All Stars tournament slated for mid January in Lilongwe.
Cezobal general secretary Herbert Chidaya said they would like to become a force to reckon with.
“We want to end Southern Zone Basketball League (Sozobal) superiority. That effort has already started after Mimbulu (from Cezobal) won the national club championship,” he said.
Chidaya said they have engaged two experienced coaches Durrel Adams and Dean Lungu Jr to drill the side.
“These coaches have what it takes to help us achieve our mission,” he said.
Chidaya said they would instill discipline in the team.
“Players who will report late for training will be sent back and those that will miss a training session will not play in the tournament,” he said.
