ASPAC basketball club of Benin combo-guard, Nigerian-born Mohammed Bukar after putting up a brilliant performance against defending champion, Primeiro d’Agosto which saw him scoring 31 points once again provided his broad shoulder for his teammates to lean on when they rallied round Cooperative Bank basketball club of Kenya by 79-49 points in a Day-3 group-B game Tuesday night at the gymnasium in Kigali, Rwanda.

The young Nigerian led the floor with 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists as the ASPAC side won in all four quarters by 20-08, 17-16, 17-7 and 25-18.
Bukar teammates, Romaric Quenum also scored 15 points, grabbing 4 rebounds and gave 3 assists, Onyeka Onwuma gave a double double effort of 13 points, 10 rebounds and one block-shot while Kader Yanuo grabbed 15 rebounds for the Cotonou-based side.
ASPAC will file out against Warriors basketball club of Uganda on match Day-4 Thursday at 15h00 as the Warriors desperately search for its first win while ASPAC look set to further push the Ugandan out of the race for a quarter-final slot after the Ugandan lost its second staright game to Interclub basketball club of Congo Brazzaville by 95-54 points on Wednesday.
