A win today against Kampala International University (KIU) at YMCA will brighten Ndejje University Angels’ hopes of survival in top-flight basketball.

Sixth on the league standings, Ndejje defeated KCC 83-71 early in the season, stunned two-time semi-finalists UCU 89-77, shocked Miracle 77-64 and outwitted Knight Riders 85-62. Their losses have come against Falcons, Kyambogo Warriors and defending champions D-Mark Power and Miracle something that would be expected.

However Ndejje face a KIU side that seems to have reorganised their house after recording their second win on Saturday against KCC 61-42 in what is arguably their worst start to the season.

Meanwhile in Wednesday’s games, KCC ladies thumped Amazon Rhino 163-19, with Linda Tamale getting a game high 26 points, Carol Babaru sunk 24, Flavia Oketcho, Becky Akullo, Miriam Hamala all scoring 20.
Magic Stormers a break way faction of Amazo Rhino beat Crane High 53-38.
