The modest club-side who is taking part in the league for the first time since acquiring the right of defunct Dodan Amazons basketball club produced the best offense and defense in the league scoring a whopping 700 points from nine games and conceded 326 points, followed closely by phase-one leader First Bank basketball club with 679 points for and 397 against respectively going into the second phase billed for Asaba from August 20 through 31.
With this position First Deepwater goal of securing a continental ticket target set by the team in its first outing in the Nigeria league is on course.
