Last year’s losing finalists A-1 Challenge return to YMCA court today to face Kampala International University (KIU) Rangers in the MTN-FUBA league women’s action. The 2007 champions made their intentions clear a fortnight ago when they defeated KCC leopards 68-66 to remain the only unbeaten team this season.
A-1 will look to Hatim Kassim’s scoring skills and their formidable defence against a KIU side that looks to be going through a transitional period with a lot of new faces from Nabisunsa.
In the other matches, Lady Bucks host a lowly Magic Stormers side still reeling from an embarrassing 100-31 defeat to Mak-Sparks.
