Warriors was in good winning form beating Knight Riders 85-74 in the MTN-Fuba National Basketball League on Saturday night at the YMCA Court, Wandegeya.
Joshua Etalu scored 31points and Steven Okias 17points to lead Warriors to their sixth consecutive win in the regular season.
Warriors struggled in the first three quarters of the game as they failed to contain Riders’ Colins Mukiza who scored 23points and John Musoke 14points.
As both teams kept the scores tied for most of the game, Warriors found their rhythm and with six minutes to go Etalu made four crucial points that propelled the Kyambogo based side to victory.
In the ladies game, KCC Leopards just seem to be unstoppable after defeating minnows Nabisunsa girls school 126-67, while KIU Rangers managed to upstage Makerere cubs 64-48 in the first division of the women’s top flight basketball league.
KCC Leopards who have won all have shown good form this season.
