On a day when you expect Falcons to falter they always turn the tables. Following three back-to-back losses, Falcons put up one of their best performances this season, defeating Nkumba University Marines 107-85 in an MTN-Fuba League encounter at YMCA Wandegeya on Friday night.

It was the second time Falcons scored over 100 points in a single game this season, the first being in the 103-93 first round victory over Miracle Eagles. The record champions were without the injured Henry Malinga but Stephen Omwony (26 points) and Sam Obol (24) made sure the big man’s absence wasn’t felt at all on Friday. The duo put up stellar performances that should surely worry other title contenders DMark Power and Warriors. A-1 overcame Lady canons 58-52.
