With no league action yesterday due to the ongoing mayhem in Kampala, Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (Fuba) has called off all its activities around the country.

Third placed and record champions Falcons were meant to face relegation threatened Knight Riders at YMCA courts, Wandegeya.

“As FUBA, we are not in position to pledge safety for any of our officials, clubs and players inclusive , so we shall not have any league games till further notice,” said William Musaazi, who heads the Fuba technical committee.
Fuba have called off the Gulu Hawks’ postponed games that were meant to be played over the weekend to further dates.

“We have contacted them and asked St. Michael and Livingstone not to travel to Gulu for their league games. Till we feel comfortable with the situation, games will not resume,” Musaazi added.

He also added that the suspended players, Isaac Lugudde, Sunday Okot (Falcons) and UCU’s pair of Ivan Enabu and Adams Njoroge will be allowed to appeal if they loose the case.
