Lagos fans will be treated to the best basketball action when two Atlantic conference big teams, Union Bank basketball club and conference leader, Islanders takes to the floor of the Sports Hall of the national stadium.

The top game which will be broadcast live on Supersports cable channels is the star-match of the mid-week cracker of the DSTV Basketball League.

Islanders who are yet to drop a game will attempt to solidify its position as the team to beat in the Atlantic conference of the DBL.

Coached by youthful tactician and former Nigeria international guard, Ogoh Odaudu, the Islanders side that parades some crop of tested players will want to confirmed that its 115-93 points win over the Stallion Boys as Union Bank is also known in the opening game of the season was not a fluke.

Basking in the euphoria of it 74-65 points first leg victory the Coach Ayo Bakare tutored side who parade the youngest point guard, Peter Odia in the DSTV Basketball League will be aiming to consolidate its position in the Atlantic conference so as to guarantee it a place in the final eight play-offs.

And from the Savannah conference, Yelwa Hawks basketball club of Bauchi will be home to Plateau Peaks basketball club of Jos while Niger Potters basketball club of Minna with Nigeria international guard, Abubakar Usman entertaining their home fans when AHIP Giants basketball club of Kano come visiting.

Both games are billed to dunk-off at 16.00 hours as the race for final-eight ticket heating up.
