Hoops end 2009 season with a emphatic win over Youtive. This win takes the team to the second position at the end of regular games. Youtive has been in this position in the last two seasons. CEPS, winning or their games maintain the top spot yet again. CEPS was the only team Hoops lost to in the 2009 Greater Accra Amateur Basketball League. The game against Youtive no doubt was expected to be a spectacular one. Youtive started with inside plays starting with a 6-0 run but the instant reply to their offensive plays saw them drawing blank by the end of the first quarter, though they won the quarter. From the second quarter to the fourth they had nothing to show as it began a one sided game. Saykan Bestman of Cape Coast Hoops led all scorers putting in 15pts, 7 rbds and 4 assts.
