KENYA : Legacy too strong for Little Prince

By ERICK OCHIENG’

Legacy beat Little Prince 74-69 in the Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) League played at Railway Club.

Legacy won the quarters 18-19, 10-11, 18-10, 16-22, and 7-12, with Ramadhan Hamisi and Daniel Odhiambo contributing 19 and 15 points for the winners.

Ezra Arenge (11points) and Moses Tona (14) stood out for Little Prince. NBA games at weekend were hit by hitches as organisers put teams to task to pay pending league fees. Although some teams have fully paid, others were compelled to do so before matches could proceed.

NBA Fixtures Secretary Caleb Osewe advised clubs which have not paid up to do so. In other matches, Legacy beat Balozi 71-50 after leading 40-15 at halftime and opening the gap in the last two quarters.
