Harare, capital of Zimbabwe will host from 31st May to 04th June 2010 the U18 men and women Qualifiers of zone VI. The competition recorded two women teams (Angola and Zimbabwe) and three men teams (Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe).
The winner of each category will represent the zone VI at the final rounds of FIBA Africa U18 Afrobasket to be held from 29th July to 08th August 2010 in Cairo, Egypt for the women side while the men event will be played from 14th to 24th September 2010 in Kigali, Rwanda. Angola men and Mozambique women are already qualified for the final round.
