UGANDA : Falcons signed Dibo Ali and Kabenge

Kampala — Mountain Dew Falcons basketball club have signed Tanzanian shooting guard Mohammed "Dibo" Ali and centre Kami Kabenge from Rwanda as they closed their shopping spree for the season. "The two players should be arriving in the coming week to beef up our squad further," team's marketing manager Dennis Mbidde said on Saturday. "The new additions will be our last signings and we hope that they will be a big boost."

The new acquisitions will bring a total of eight foreign players into the five-time league champions' side.
The squad also has Rwanda's Karim Mosi, Mike Bazangu, Didier Gahorani, Cedric Sinarinzi, Congolese-born Rwandan Byeyen Ngandu and Kenya 's Richard Osano Omondi.
Ali, will be joining the side as he pursues his degree at Ndejje University, while Kabenge, will be studying for his Masters at Makerere University.
Mbidde explained that it was necessary for them to sign the new faces for them to have a solid side that could battle in the season to regain the league title.

The record winners last lifted the trophy in the 2007 season.
