AFTER getting Prosper Mihigo on board and freshening up the team with a couple of signings, CSK could be a big force to reckon with this season.
The Rugunga based side signed the former Marines coach last month as they look to put up a strong fight for this year’s league title.
Boosting of players like Gerould Ndugu, Aristide Mugabe, Leonel Hakizimana, Bizimungu Kambi and two more targets in Albert Rukundo and Bunene Kajeguhakwa, CSK who came very close to winning the title on their debut back in 2007 fancy their chances.
In 2007, CSK stunned many when they hassled their way to the play-offs final only to lose to the now disintegrated Marines.
“We now have a mix of youth and experience in the team and hope that we shall gel as a team as we play more and more games,” Mihigo said.
Mihigo started coaching back in 2002 at Gitarama basketball club before crossing over to Marines in 2004.
