Oliver Albert Holders JKT today face hardfighters ABC at the National Indoor Stadium in the Regional Basketball League tie expected to rumble with stiff rivalry and showcasing of tactics. JKT, who have so far lost two matches to Pazi and Oilers, will bank on their top marksman Charles Makene, who re-enters the court after missing four matches over injuries. His comeback is likely to line him up against ABC playmaker Gilbert Batungi in a hotly contested pursuit for court supremacy. Last year ABC lost twice to holders JKT in both the RBA League and the National Basketball League (NBL) championship held in Dar es Salaam and Mwanza. "We have trained well for the big match. We promise our fans a sure victory tomorrow (today)," said ABC player Haleluya Kavalambi. Charles Makene of JKT said all faults that led to his team's two previous losses in the games have been fixed and all the players were primed for victory. "They have never beaten us before and they shall never do so, "said Makene. |
