The International Schools Sports Association will be organising its 2010 basketball tournament on the eve of valentines. The event which comprises of international schools in Ghana has been organised for the past three years and has seen the participation of some internatioal schools from across the West-African region such as British School of Lome.
Last years tournament saw Ghana International School (GIS) win the boys tournament after playing SOS Herman Gmeiner School in the finals. The girls tournament saw schools like Akosombo international School, Tema International School, and SOS Herman Gmeiner school compete for the champioship title after the 2008 champions Lincoln Community School pulled out of the 2009 competition. Ghana International School emerged winners of the girls tournament in that year. This year's tournament will see the return of Lincoln Community School participating in both the male and female tournament. Will they register their return with a champioship victory? The court will tell come Saturday 13th of February 2010 at the Ghana International School with first jump ball at 9:00am.
