Long before they made the giant stride into the MTN-Fuba League division one, St. Michael and Berkley were the undisputed kings in the lower echelons.
But as the two teams face-off at YMCA court, Wandegeya this evening, they have learnt more than just a few lessons.
One defeat after the other left them with no chance of survival as the relegation monster quickly swallowed them and today can be equated to a long journey into division two after a forgetful season.
At least, their woeful topflight shares one similarity – lack of size has greatly curtailed the ability to put in a descent shift. Berkley is yet to win game whereas St. Michael have won just once.
