The country’s women’s and men’s pre-selections are to leave the country next week to attend a two-week training camp in Rouen, France.
The training camp forms part of the Seychelles teams’ preparation for the forthcoming 8th Indian Ocean Island Games which will take place here from August 5-14
The female players making the trip are Simone Malbrook, Lucia Souffe, Geneviève Beaudouin, Magdeline Julienne, Dinah Louis, Lindy Mathiot, Williana Dubois, Sherifah Agathine, Jenita Toussaint, Zera Fontaine, Beguitta Fontaine, Tessa Mathiot, Katherina Morel, Veena Panagary, Bernadette Songor and Myra Solin. They will be accompanied by head coach Phillip Arissol and assistant Tony Juliette.
Under the guidance of head coach Clifford Joubert and assistant Michel Malbrook, the men’s team comprise Reggie Ah-Kong, Sergio Ah-Kong, Arnaud Arissol, Bernard Bristol, Giovanni Laval, Nigel Cafrine, Amadou Sylla, Cyril Agrippine, Dominic Pillay, Nigel Sinon, Darren Lesperance, Ron Estico, Daniel Victor, Robert Léon, Neddy Fanchette and Abdel Sylla.
Technical advisors Paul Denis and Dominique Gueret are also making the trip.
