Two Liberian international basketball stars have switched clubs in Europe
Varnie Dennis and Pele Pealey have joined new clubs in Spain and France respectively.
Varnie Dennis has joined Gestiberica Vigo of Spain’s LEB Gold league.
The 27-year-old US-Liberian forward started the previous season in Noerdlingen.
There he averaged 7.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
Later Varnie Dennis moved to Longwy-Rehon in French NM1 league.
His stats increased at 10.5 points, 5.2 boards and 2.5 assists per game.
Varnie Dennis used to play for Vigo in 2008. Then he tallied 10.1 points and 6.2 boards for the Spanish team.
Pele Pealey for his part has left French PRO B side Bourg to join another club in the same division.
The big Liberian forward has singed a two year deal with Charlville.
He started his European career in Germany where he was a leading scorer for his club.
