Primeiro d’Agosto of Angola won Zone 6 Champions Cup for men Qualifiers played in Harare, Zimbabwe.
The competition registered the participation of 7 clubs from zone 6 and be run from 06th to 12th November 2009 in City Sports center of Harare and will determine the two representatives of the zone to the final rounds of Africa Champions Cup for men to be played in December 2009 in Kigali, Rwanda.
After 6 days of huge battle, Primeiro ended first without defeat with 12 points followed by Petro of Luanda (Angola) with 11 points. ASA (Angola) ranked third with 10 points while Ferroviaro (Mozambique) ended fourth with 9 points. JBC and Raiderz, both from Zimbabwe, ranked respectively fifth and sixth with 8 et 7 points each. LCC Looters of Lesotho, ended at the seventh place with 6 points.
Primeiro d’Agosto and Petro Atlético of Luanda will represent the zone 6 at the final rounds of the 24th edition of Africa Champions Cup for men to be held from 11th to 20th December 2009 in Kigali, Rwanda.
Primeiro is the defending champion of the Africa Champions Cup for men.
