Nigeria team of the moment, First Deepwater basketball club of Lagos who is tasting full basketball action in the Nigeria women league for the first time seems to have shake off her Wednesday 71-57 points lose to First Bank basketball club of Lagos with an emphatic 94-44 points whitewashing of F.C.T Angels basketball club of Abuja in the first game of the Day-7 of the second phase of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) organised Zenith Bank Women Premier League.

The Lateef Erinfolamin and Shola Ogunade tutored First Deepwater side showed a great depth and understanding of the game winning in all four quarters by 23-14, 18-11, 27-08 and 26-11.

First Deepwater captain and former Nigeria international forward, Patricia Chukwuma led the floor with 20 points, 4 rebounds and two block-shots while former Dolphin basketball club forward, Julie Onyeluga added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists to complete the routing of the young F.C.T Angels side.
