Union Bank basketball club of Lagos Sunday stepped up its bid to finish as one of the two top teams from the Atlantic conference of the DStv Premier Basketball League walloped Chariots basketball club by 89-42 points in a local derby.
Union Bank BC won the second, third and fourth quarters by 30-06, 26-10 and 25-16 to bring its regular season records to 9-1 for 19 points.
