MTN-Fuba League champions DMark have demolished every opponent that has come their way so far this season.
It was only against record champions Mogas Falcons that Power toiled to win at the beginning of the month when they squeezed a 74-70 victory.
The rest of the games have been a walk in the park for Peter Mubanda’s side. They demolished former two-time champions Nkumba Marines 110-66 and brushed aside Ndejje University 124-62 in their last encounter. Its Entebbe Knight Riders next in line and another drubbing looks likely at YMCA Wandegeya tonight.
Not to undermine Riders, who only returned to the topflight this season, but this Power team is unstoppable at the moment. “It is very scary just how good this team is going to become,” DMark technical director Mubanda commented after watching his team tear Ndejje to shreds.
With an array of stars including the Blick brothers Norman and Donald, Mubanda is convinced the team can only get better and sides like Riders should expect no mercy. Riders is undoubtedly one of the most exciting in the league but beating Power will be the biggest upset.
