R.I. Sports Company, will host their first international Basketball Tournament in the city of Praia. The tournament will count with the participation with teams from different continents. The teams will comprised of mixed players from different leagues. There will be a mixed team from Angola, 2 from the USA, and one of the local players.
The Mundialito will be one of the biggest event, of its type, to happen in Cape Verde. Besides the tournament, a Basketball clinic for coaches and players will be on the same dates.
The tournament will e held in the city of Praia, on the 21, 22 and 23 of May, with the teams from Angola, USA, and Cape Verde. On the Sal Island, the team from Angola will play an exhibition game against Pantera Negra (Sal island Regional champions).
The team from Angola will consist of: Emanuel Trovoada (coach) Angelo Victoriano (Assistant coach), Miguel Lutonda, Milton Barros, Domingos Bonifcio, Olmpio Cipriano, Carlos Morais, Carlos Almeida, Mario Correia, Rodrigo Mascarenhas, Joaquim Kikas Gomes, Eduardo Mingas, Vladimir Jeronimo, and Felizardo Ambrosio.

The coaches Clinic will be monitored by well known coaches:

- Emanuel Trovoada (current Desportivo da Huila coach)
- Rico (ex Cape Verde National team captain and coach - and godfather to the Mundialito tournament)
- Babacar Sy (French-Senegalese, Director of Adidas for Africa, ex-USA College coach).
The Mini basketball camp will be directed by Prof. Francisco Romero Simon (Fran), who has a degree in Sports Management. Prof. Francisco Simon has a vast experience in coaching basketball at all levels, from cadets to the Senior National team.
