Comets who now lead the Atlantic conference with two wins and a lose defeated Delta Force basketball club of Asaba by 88-65 points on Saturday at the Sports Hall of the Asaba Township stadium, while losing by 50-71 points to Royal Hoopers basketball club of Port Harcourt on Sunday.
In the Savannah conference defending champion, Kano Pillars basketball club picked open its title defense with an away win of 99-66 points against Tapgun Rockets basketball club of Jos at the sports hall of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria on Saturday. Niger Potters basketball club of Minna also joi ned the league of away winning team with a 61-58 points win over Nigeria Immigration basketball club of Kano at the sports hall of Sani Abacha stadium, Kofa-mata, Kano.
Kada Stars basketball club of Kaduna continue its impressive in the league picking a second away win on Sunday against Yelwa Hawks basketball club of Bauchi with a 73-70 points win to maintain a hundred percent record while Plateau Peaks basketball club of Jos failed to honour its home game against Bauchi Nets basketball club in its new home court in Bauchi thus faulfing the game for a walk-over in favour of the Nets.
