D’MARK Power’s Isaac Lugudde has been dropped from the national team preparing for Zone V Africa nations basketball qualifiers due in Rwanda, February 1-6.
Lugudde along with Miracle’s Caesar Kizito and Charging Rhino’s Mark Opio will not make it to this year’s edition folliwing a decision taken by the head coach Gad Eteu and his assistant Timothy Odeke.
“They were not fitting well into the team,” Odeke explained.
Odeke said that Lugudde who plays the same position as teammates Joseph Ikong, Norman Blick, UCU’s Jimmy Enabu and Miracle’s Stephen Omony was not giving his best in the team.
Lugudde, who made his debut on the national team in January 2009, four months in the league, did not have a good season last year.
