The Executive Committee of FIBA Africa held its 7th session of 2006 – 2010 term-office on Wednesday 20th January 2010 at the meeting room of the headquarters of FIBA Africa in Cairo, Egypt.
The meeting directed by the President, Pr Alain Ekra and the Secretary General, Dr Alphonse Bilé, approved the reports of these previous meetings (Libya, August 2009 and Madagascar, October 2009) and scan the entire agenda of the Central Board’s meeting to be held the 22nd and 23rd January 2010 at Sonesta Hotel in Cairo, Egypt.
The Central Borad’s meeting will generally take decisions concerning the competitions, the training programme, the rules, the budget, the Congress and the commemoration of the half century (50 years) of FIBA Africa on 14th June 2011. About the competitions, the Central Board will choose the hosting country of the Afrobasket men 2011 and three countries (Côte d’Ivoire, Nigeria and Madagascar) are candidates.
