DMark Power have moved swiftly to replace Norman Blick with Jimmy Enabu from UCU Canons. The shooting guard signed a two-year deal on Tuesday. Champions Power lost their former captain Blick to Miracle Eagles after his contract expired and needed to beef up their team ahead of the new season.
This is the second time in as many years that Enabu is changing clubs having only left Knight Riders for UCU at the start of last season. “It’s a big challenge to play with a team that won last year. All I need is to work with the players here and everything will fall into place,” Enabu said.

His reasons for choosing Power over the other two potential suitors Warriors and Falcons go way beyond money, he revealed. “I think Power favours my style of play.” “I cannot be Norman. I am here to do my part,” the shooting guard said. He will find lots of help to fit in with his younger brother Emmanuel Enabu already at Power.
Power CEO Alex Kasendwa has also offered Ben Komakech and Isaac Afidra new deals though the two stars are yet to sign. Elsewhere, Steven Mwesigye is also on the verge of joining Falcons from UCU.
UCU Canons have lost so many players following the acquisition of guard Sudi Ulanga (Falcons) plus forwards Martin Okwako (Warriors) and Desmond Owili (KCB, Kenya).
